the connection between aesthetics and ethics is, it is probably going to be a fairly close one. because they are both forms of value. ethics is the form of value that tells us whether or not people’s actions are good or bad. aesthetics is the form of value that is closely tied with sensory qualities or artistic qualities. so we might find mountains good, but it isn’t because they did anything or could do anything, but because of their sensory qualities or how they affect us on an emotional level.
